How to Import Files into GoodNotes
When you download a digital planner or notebook, the file often comes in a ZIP format. To use it in GoodNotes, you need to unzip and import it properly. In this guide, I’ll explain two simple methods to import files into GoodNotes.
Method 1: Unzip and Import via GoodNotes
- Open the Files app on your iPad.
- Tap the ZIP file to unzip it.
- Open GoodNotes, tap plus(+) → Import, and select the PDF file.
- Your planner is now ready to use in GoodNotes.
Method 2: Open with Share Option
- In the Files app, press and hold the PDF file.
- Tap Share from the menu.
- Select GoodNotes from the app list.
- The file will open directly in GoodNotes.
Tips for Beginners
- Always unzip files before importing them into GoodNotes.
- Once imported, you can write, highlight, and decorate your planner with stickers.
- GoodNotes supports PDF and image formats (JPG/PNG).
